Vinicius Dantas Named Director of Soccer at Tyler Athletic and Swim Club

Tyler, Texas (March 1, 2023) – Tyler Athletic and Swim Club, a private membership club that features fitness, tennis, pickleball and soccer programs, has named Vinicius Dantas Director of Soccer.

Dantas, a Sao Paulo, Brazil native, has extensive coaching, club management and professional playing experience. Since 2011, Dantas has been a member of eight professional teams across Europe and North America. During his stint on the Baltimore Blast from 2014-2020, Dantas received numerous honors including helping his team secure the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) Championship three seasons in a row and receiving Playoff MVP for the 2016/2017 season. Throughout his professional career, Dantas held head coaching positions for club teams Premier FC Blue, Baltimore Celtic FC and Valor Soccer Club. He also served as Varsity Assistant Coach at McDonogh High School from 2017-2018 in Maryland where he helped his team secure the MIAA Championship both years.
